Sewer Line Repair and Replacement
From a stubborn clog to a full line replacement, we handle the work under your yard and under your slab, and we're there same-day when it's an emergency.
Chapter 01
Why a sewer line actually fails
Older cast iron and clay lines corrode and crack from the inside out. Once there's a crack, tree roots find the moisture and grow straight into it, and what started as a hairline gap becomes a blockage that grows every year. Ground settling can also leave a section of line bellied, sitting low so waste pools instead of flowing, which shows up as slow drains and bad odors long before anything backs up completely.
A full collapse is usually the last stage of one of those problems left alone, not a sudden event. By the time a line collapses, it's typically been narrowing for years.

Sewer line repair and replacement work by Choice Plumbers, LLC in Baytown, Texas
Cleaning, repair, or replacement
Not every sewer problem needs the line dug up. Hydro jetting clears grease, scale, and root intrusion out of a line that's still structurally sound, using high-pressure water instead of a cable so the pipe walls get scoured clean, not just punched through.
When the pipe itself is damaged, we repair the section that's failing rather than the whole run wherever the damage is contained. When it isn't, we replace or reroute the line. Jody K's collapsed sewer line was a reroute; other jobs are a straight section repair. We tell you which one you actually need after we've seen the line, not before.
Chapter 03
Under-slab repairs and tunneling
A line that runs under a slab foundation used to mean breaking through the concrete floor inside the house. We tunnel underneath the slab from the outside where the job allows it, reaching the damaged section without opening up your living space.
It takes longer than a surface dig, but it means no jackhammering through a bedroom floor and no patching concrete indoors when we're done. Tina B's main sewer line replacement, on a house built in 1960, is the kind of job this approach is built for.
What a real job looks like
Dustin walks the property with you first and explains the scope before anyone digs, the same way he did for Tina B's 1960 house replacement, with daily updates while the crew worked. Van H's job, rerouting every sewer line out of the house, went the same way: explained up front, done quickly, minimal disruption to the yard.
Same-day emergency service is available when a line backs up completely and can't wait. We're licensed and insured on every job, from a same-day emergency call to a full replacement.
